My team and I worked together to design a biodegradable tile that encourages new growth and leaves behind no trace. Using organic shapes from tortoise shells to inspire the concept of the tile.
The priorities of the tile are to be compostable and encourage the growth of wildlife, more specifically along the Hogsmill River in Kingston.
The concept of the tile is organic shapes such as those on tortiose shells which are concave and layered.
